The steering wheel is possibly the most uncomfortable component of any car. It gets cold in winter and hot and sweaty in summer. There is no easy way to avoid this.
Some cars have heated steering wheels, but it does not help is the summer. Gloves and steering wheel covers can kind of do the trick but there are additional problems associated with them.
I have an idea about how to make a steering wheel comfortable no matter the temperature.
AutoDesk AutoCAD is a well known engineering software for 2D and 3D design. It implements hundreds of functions and tools to create and manipulate various graphical objects. Still, some operations with simple objects can be a real pain.
Imagine you have a drawing with a 100 simple objects of the same type, like circles, ones you’d never normally put in a Block structure or group by themselves. Is there an easy way to quickly add another bigger circle around each one of the initial circles?
It’s well known that brushing your tongue before going to bed is a good habit, helping maintain proper mouth hygiene and preventing bad breath in the morning. I have tried following this advice and attempted to clean my tongue using a toothbrush several times but it almost made me sick. Here is an idea how to make this procedure more comfortable.
Computers have revolutionized industrial design. Almost everything — from matches to electric power stations — has been designed, interpreted to please the eye and implemented on a computer and in real life. However, one field was left completely unattended!
Nanotechnology is attracting a lot of attention these days despite being in the early stages of its development and lacking widely used applications. In 2005 calculations performed in University of Southampton, UK showed an interesting phenomenon called optical whirlpool. It was found that light goes a bit crazy around nanoparticles and at certain conditions turns into a spiral.
Here is an idea how this phenomenon can be used to create a future nano light cannon.
Gradient fill is one of the standard tools in CorelDraw. It works seamlessly for both single and multiple objects:
Select an object or a group of objects.
Apply Gradient Fill.
But it’s not so easy when the gradient fill should be applied to a group of objects in respect to another object (which can be interpreted as a light source illuminating the group). Here is what can be done.
Imagine a situation when you are desperate for a magnifying glass: reading the small font on a package in a supermarket or pharmacy is one of them. If you left your glasses at home — reach for your mobile!
If you spend most of you time at work in the office, you are probably familiar with instant coffee packs. Single serving, all-in-one, just add water – what could possibly be the problem?
