I’ve had this digital alarm clock for some time and I’ve always felt that there is something wrong with it. Couldn’t figure out what exactly until it struck me.
It’s showing time in 24 hour-format. Three digits from 0:00 till 9:59 and four digits for the rest of the day. The latter are displayed symmetrically but three digits don’t, and this breaks the harmony.
Easy to fix!

I have several external hard drives which I use to backup my stuff and transfer large files between office and home. I often disconnect one of them and connect it back in a couple of hours.
Disconnecting a has always been a problem for me: how do I tell what hard drive is in the middle of the stack? Is it F:, H:, K:, or have I disconnected it already?
Here is how this problem can be sorted.
